Zhen Zheng
Associate Professor Zheng was an NHMRC TRIP fellow (National Health and Medical Research Council, Translating Evidence into Practice) (2016-2018).
She is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia. Zheng is a member of Australian Pain Society, International Association for the Studies of Pain, and Australian Association of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
During her NHMRC TRIP fellowship, she led a multi-disciplinary team on integrated acupressure into routine peri-operative setting to prevent and manage post-operative nausea and vomiting. The team developed a framework to enable others to introduce future implementation of acupuncture.
