Professor Peter Wilson is the Deputy Director, Healthy Brain and Mind Research Centre, and Lead of Development and Disability over the Lifespan program at the Australian Catholic University. Over the past 24 years, Prof Wilson has developed and led a program of work on motor and cognitive development, supported by several large ARC grants. This work is recognised internationally as perhaps the first to investigate both typical and atypical motor development from a cognitive neuroscientific perspective. 

Prof Wilson’s research has been translated into innovations in virtual rehabilitation in collaboration with A/Prof. Jonathan Duckworth who have designed, developed and evaluated innovations in the use of technology in rehabilitation for children with disorders affecting movement and adults with Acquired Brain Injury.
